VI CPC - REVISED MINIMUM QUALIFYING SERVICE FOR PROMOTION : URGENT AMENDMENT OF SERVICE /RECRUITMENT RULES

1.      Consequent to the Recommentions of 6th CPC and the Implemention, the GOI, Min of Personnel,  Public Grievances and Pension Welfare, ordered all Ministries to amend the Service/Recruitment Rules, within 6 months,  to incorporate various newly brought out terms/conditions and definitions, pertaining to Service Matters of all the Central Government employees, vide Order of 24.03.09.  Please click   HERE  But so far, no action seem to have been taken on the issue by any departments.

2.        With reference to the Armed Forces Personnel, the following Grade Pay Placements, (equivalent to the Civilian Employees with a Minimum prescribed Qualifying Service for Promotion) as per VI CPC recommendations is appended below, for information:-

            The mandatory time limit to revise/amend the service rules/recruitment rules expires on  23.9.09.  It is hoped that the necessary orders incorporating the amendments shall be over by that date.
